This privacy policy describes how Investment Fidelity Company LLC ("we", "us", or "IFC") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at investmentfidelity.company or engage us as a client. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising. We collect only what we need to do the work.
1. Who we are
Investment Fidelity Company LLC is a software engineering firm registered in the United States. Our registered legal address is 16557 Canyon Ln, Canyon Country, CA 91387, USA; day-to-day operations run out of Clearwater, Florida. The data controller for the purposes of this policy is Investment Fidelity Company LLC; you can reach the controller at privacy@investmentfidelity.company.
2. Information we collect from website visitors
This website is a static, marketing-only site. The information collected from visitors is intentionally minimal:
- Server access logs. Our content delivery network records standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, requested URL, response status, timestamp — for the operational purposes of detecting abuse and diagnosing failures. These logs are retained for no more than 90 days.
- No analytics, no advertising trackers. The website does not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or session-replay tools. There is no client-side tracking script.
- No cookies set by us. The website itself does not set cookies. Your browser may cache static assets; that is local to your device.
3. Information we collect when you contact us
If you contact us by email, phone, or another channel listed on the Contact page, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and any contact information you choose to provide.
- The contents of your message and any attachments you send.
- Subsequent correspondence required to respond to or follow up on your inquiry.
This information is used to respond to your inquiry and, if it leads to an engagement, to perform the work you've asked us to do. We do not add inbound contacts to a marketing mailing list.
4. Information we collect under an engagement
If you engage us as a client, we may collect and process additional information necessary to deliver the work, including:
- Business and contact information for stakeholders involved in the engagement.
- Access credentials, API keys, or other secrets necessary to integrate with your systems. These are handled per the controls described in our Security Policy.
- Code, schemas, and operational data we are explicitly given access to in order to perform the work.
Information collected under an engagement is governed primarily by the executed services agreement (and any Data Processing Addendum, NDA, or BAA that is part of it), which controls in case of conflict with this privacy policy.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and proposals.
- Provide the services you've engaged us to perform.
- Operate, maintain, and secure our own infrastructure (logs, error reporting, billing).
- Comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
We do not use client or visitor information to train machine-learning models, build advertising profiles, or sell to data brokers.
6. Sharing with third parties
We share information only with service providers that are necessary to operate the business, and only to the extent necessary. Current categories include:
- Hosting and CDN. Amazon Web Services and CloudFront.
- Email. Standard transactional email services for inbound and outbound correspondence.
- Accounting and payments. Standard accounting and invoicing platforms used by US-incorporated businesses.
We do not share personal information for direct marketing by third parties, and we do not sell personal data.
7. Data retention
- Server logs: up to 90 days.
- Inbound inquiry correspondence: up to 24 months from last contact, or longer if an engagement is active or being scoped.
- Engagement-related records: per the executed services agreement, and per applicable US tax and corporate-record retention requirements (typically 7 years).
8. Security
How we secure information — both our own and our clients' — is described in our Security Policy. The summary version is: encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, secrets stored in managed key stores, no plaintext credentials in version control, and audit logging on production systems.
9. International transfers
We are a US business and our operations are conducted from the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, you should expect that information you send us will be processed in the United States.
10. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Request a copy of personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Opt out of any direct communications from us (we do not send mass marketing email; transactional and engagement email is in scope of the underlying agreement).
To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@investmentfidelity.company. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
11. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy as our business or applicable law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted prominently on the website for a reasonable period.
